It doesn’t take a PhD to realize that there is a problem in the “United” States. The nation is so divided it’s crazy. I mean there’s no way over 300 million people are going to agree on one thing, right?!?! Well, there’s some things that should just be agreed on without even having to be said but we can’t even do that. 

You would think if two different people were completing the same job that they should be compensated at the same rate… Right?

You would think it would be easy to agree that healthcare should be affordable to everyone… Right?

You would think it would be easy to agree that no one is superior based on the the color of their skin… Right?

I asked 3 simple questions and we can’t even agree…

Gender, Social Class, and Ethnicity shouldn’t dictate the answer.

I saw this Spider-Man Meme and I thought its so true…

The Confederate flag was flown in southern states supporting slavery. I have no idea how someone can fly that flag and really not think it is racist… 

The Nazi flag was Hitlers version of “the victory of the Aryan race”. If you don’t think the Holocaust was bad there is really something wrong with you… I’m not even sorry.

The Blue Lives Matter flag only came into existence to rival the “Black Lives Matter” movement and creates an “Us vs Them” mentality. It creates division between Police and Black People by saying someone’s profession/job matters more than the color of someones skin. I have complete respect for my friends/family in law enforcement and I appreciate everything they do. I just wish there would be more change to a system that is doing more harm to one culture as opposed to another.

The Trump flag just makes no sense. By flying his flag you are pledging allegiance to him… Literally. Remember in school when we would say “I pledge allegiance, to the flag…” Yeah, you’re literally putting his flag above the actual American Flag. There has never been a president that has caused so much division and hatred of one another. MAGA has a different meaning depending on your skin color. Some see “Make America Great Again”, while others see “My Ass Got Arrested.” Think about it. Trump supporters storm the Capitol and Police officers escort them in. BLM supporters walk peacefully and get maced. We all know “One bad apple can spoil the bunch,” but one bag was condemned and called thugs/terrorist while the other bag was called special and told to go with love and in peace… 

And to make it worse, all these flags have been equated with this one. It’s horrible to think that when people see an American flag they think of the 4 flags above instead of the UNITED STATES. It saddens me to think how backwards our society is. Almost like we have learned nothing as a nation in 200+ years. 

Everyone has seen the videos of what took place at the US Capitol. I mean there’s literally video of them taking down the current flag and replacing it with a Trump flag. 

We are talking about the same people that said this man was “disrespecting” the flag… The American flag that was literally thrown to the ground!

Please explain it to me because I must be confused or missed something.

“Make America Great Again” … come on… please tell me what time period you guys are referring to… 

Oh wait, he said he was referring to the late 40’s/early 50’s…

It wasn’t just “Black” people being treated wrong… But y’all still support “Latino’s for Trump”?!?!?!

Like I said… It’s looking like we are going backwards…

Seriously?

The reason white people came to North America in the first place was for religious freedom. 

That means whether you support Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, heck even atheism, you were supposed to be free.

As a Christian, my beliefs may be different than yours but who am I to force something on you. 

Matthew 7 literally tells us… “Judge not, that you be not judged.For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

1 Corinthians 1:10 Paul speaking to the church… “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

I don’t care what color your skin is or what you believe. I will treat you with the same respect I would want you to give me. We might not always agree, but we are still neighbors. 

I am happy I live in a country where I can share my beliefs with others but also see their views and respect them as well.
