I was watching a movie the other day and the dad tells his son something that really got my attention…
“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”
I bet none of you can tell me what movie thats from, that was probably the only thing from it I remember lol… 20 seconds now can make all the difference in the world. Don’t be afraid to say something because you think it will make you uncomfortable.
A little kindness goes a long way. You telling someone “I like your hair” or doing something as simple as holding the door for someone goes farther than you think. A positive attitude is contagious, but of course not everyone will appreciate it. Don’t let that one negative obstacle ruin your day.
You don’t always have to go out of your way to make everyone else around you happy. Sometimes even just having a smile can be encouraging.
Have you ever heard of the 2% Mindset?
Only 2% of people get out of their comfort zone and choose to embrace the unknown. That means if 100 people read this post, only 2 will actually apply it to their life. I don’t know what you think but I know God gave me a free will for a reason. You aren’t a robot so quit acting like one!
Quit making excuses and start making moves.
Don’t let it last two minutes if it won’t matter in twenty years. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:14
